Start building

The project workspace

Understand chat, preview, source files, Activity, and build check-ins.

Chat and preview

Chat is where you request work, review responses, and answer questions. Preview is the working version you inspect before publishing. A build in progress can temporarily show the previous preview while the next version is being prepared.

The Plan view lets you review proposed work separately from the preview. Use the available panel controls to show or hide panels, and drag the divider when you need more room for chat or the app.

Source files and Activity

The source view contains the project's editable files. Use it to inspect templates, styles, browser scripts, and server code. Generated images appear as project files with image previews rather than editable source text.

Activity records build events, tool calls, errors, and timing information. Expand an event to inspect its details. When reporting a failure, include the relevant error and the action that led to it; do not include private credentials.

Build check-ins and continuation

Longer work may ask whether to continue spending credits. Review the progress and choose whether to continue, stop, or use the option to continue without further budget questions when it is available.

If a check-in was unanswered, use Resume build to continue saved progress. Resuming work can consume additional credits. A visible request for input is different from a compiler failure; give the requested answer rather than starting duplicate builds.
