This Privacy Policy explains how ion7 collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use its website, project workspaces, app-building agent, previews, publishing tools, and related services.

Information you provide

• Account information, such as your email address, authentication details, and account preferences.
• Project content, including prompts, chat messages, plans, source files, uploaded material, database content, project settings, and published output.
• Billing information. Payment-card details are collected and processed by the payment processor; ion7 receives transaction, subscription, and limited billing details needed to manage your account.
• Connected-service information, such as authorization details and repository metadata when you choose to connect a supported third-party account.
• Messages, feedback, and other information you send when requesting support or communicating with ion7.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and event data, such as pages viewed, buttons used, build activity, tool calls, credit usage, feature interactions, and timestamps.
• Technical data, such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, referral information, and diagnostic logs.
• Session and preference data stored through cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, prevent abuse, and understand service performance.
• Build and deployment records, such as compiler output, error reports, preview checks, generated screenshots, version history, and published addresses.

How ion7 uses information

• Provide, operate, maintain, and personalize the service.
• Process instructions, generate and modify project files, compile applications, create previews, and publish projects.
• Authenticate users, administer accounts, process payments, allocate credits, and enforce plan limits.
• Monitor performance, diagnose errors, improve reliability, develop features, and evaluate the quality and safety of generated output.
• Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of the Terms of Service.
• Communicate about transactions, service changes, security, support requests, and other administrative matters.
• Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect ion7, its users, and the public.

AI processing

To provide the app-building service, ion7 sends relevant instructions, project context, and tool results to AI model providers. Do not submit secrets, regulated data, or other information you are not authorized to share. Provider handling may vary by model and service configuration.

ion7 may review generated output, diagnostic information, and service interactions to evaluate quality, safety, abuse, and reliability. Where practical, ion7 limits this processing to information relevant to those purposes.

How information is disclosed

ion7 may disclose information in the following circumstances:

• To vendors that provide hosting, authentication, payment, AI, analytics, communications, monitoring, and other infrastructure services, subject to appropriate contractual restrictions.
• At your direction, such as when you publish a project, connect an external account, push files to a repository, or share a project address.
• To comply with law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the service.
• In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to customary safeguards.

Public projects and connected services

Information in a published application can be viewed by anyone with access to its public address and may be copied or indexed by others. Do not publish private or sensitive information.

When you connect a third-party service, ion7 exchanges the information needed to perform the action you request. The third party’s own privacy policy governs its handling of information outside ion7.

Retention

ion7 retains information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain project history and backups, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and protect the service. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is kept.

Deleting a project or account may not immediately remove copies from backups, security records, transaction records, or logs that must be retained for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Security

ion7 uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, and ion7 cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your account and for avoiding sensitive information in prompts, source files, and published projects unless it is appropriate and properly protected.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update certain account and project information through the service, disconnect supported third-party accounts, manage subscription settings, and delete projects where those controls are available.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information, or to appeal a decision about a request. Requests may be submitted through the contact options available within ion7. ion7 may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser, but disabling them may prevent authentication or other service features from working.

International processing

ion7 and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, ion7 uses recognized safeguards for international transfers.

Children

ion7 is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The service is available only to people who meet the age requirements in the Terms of Service. If you believe a child has provided personal information, use the available contact channel to request its removal.

Changes to this policy

ion7 may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel.
