Manage your app
Publishing and sharing
Release a reviewed version, share its live link, and manage the published badge.
Preview versus live
Preview is for inspecting ongoing work. Publishing releases the current project to its live URL. Keep using the preview to review edits, then publish again when you want those updates available to visitors.
Release checklist
- Confirm the latest build is usable and resolve any reported page failure.
- Review real text, contact details, prices, and data-handling behavior.
- Choose Publish and wait for its result.
- Open the live URL and test the main interaction.
- Use the share dialog to copy or share the published link.
If publication fails, read the publishing error in Activity. A known failed home page is deliberately blocked; ask the agent to repair it instead of attempting to bypass the check.
The published Ion7 badge
Published apps show ‘Made with Ion7.com’ in the lower-left corner by default. Open the project's Settings and use the Published badge switch to change that preference. Check the live site after the update to confirm the result.
The publishing share dialog provides referral-tagged links when available. The badge can also associate visitors with the app owner. Review Account for the referral information available to your account.
Published addresses and custom domains
Use the live address returned by Publish. The current project settings do not provide a self-service custom-domain setup flow, so these guides do not prescribe DNS records or promise automatic certificate setup for your own domain.
