Start building

Quickstart

Take an app idea through planning, a working preview, and publication.

1. Describe your app

Start with the people who will use the app and the task they need to complete. A focused first version is easier to review than a long list of unrelated features. State which information should be saved and what a successful interaction looks like.

Example brief
Build a booking page for a dog-grooming business.
Customers choose a service and request a date.
Save the customer's name, email, service, and date.
Show a confirmation after submission.
Use a clean layout that works on a phone.
Do not add payments to this first version.

2. Review the plan

Choose Plan when you want to agree on the approach before implementation. Review the proposed pages, stored data, technical details, and verification steps. Ask for a revision if the scope or assumptions are wrong.

Visitors can review an initial plan before signing in. When an account is required, complete the sign-in step and continue with the idea you entered. The exact starting flow depends on your selected mode and account state.

  1. Read the plan and check that it covers your main user workflow.
  2. Use Revise to correct assumptions or remove unnecessary features.
  3. Choose Approve & build when you are ready to implement.

3. Build and test

Follow progress in chat and Activity while ion7 edits source files and checks the result. A build may require several repair attempts. If a check-in requests a decision, answer it before expecting the work to continue.

  • Run the main workflow with realistic input.
  • Check empty values, invalid input, and confirmation messages.
  • Reload and confirm that data intended to persist is still present.
  • Inspect the layout on a narrow screen.
  • Request a focused correction for anything that does not match the plan.

4. Publish your app

Choose Publish after reviewing the preview. Open the resulting live URL and repeat the main workflow there. The share dialog lets you copy the link or share it through the available services.

Future edits update your preview. Publish again when you want those changes to appear on the live site.
